How Evnts compares, and a Halloween page
evnts.rsvp/compare puts Evnts next to Evite, Partiful, SignUpGenius, Eventbrite, TicketSpice and Ticketmaster: price, ads, how guests RSVP, reminders and ticket fees, with sources, and where each of them is the better pick. And evnts.rsvp/for/halloween gets your costume party invite out in a minute.

Your invites stay out of search engines
Google and other search engines are now asked not to list your invite, even if its link ends up somewhere public. The exception is an event you show on your public community page, since there you want to be found.

Pick up a payment where you left off
Started a paid RSVP and closed the payment page? Open the invite again on the same phone: it tells you you're not on the list yet, with Finish paying to go straight back, or Remove it if you changed your mind.

A new status page
status.evnts.rsvp shows whether the site is up right now and its uptime over the last 90 days, checked every five minutes. evnts.rsvp/status still takes you there.

Pick the exact place from Google Maps
Start typing a venue or address under Where and pick it from the suggestions: the address fills itself and your guests' Directions open that exact spot. Anything else you type still works, and an AI draft offers the best match for you to pin.

Follow a community right after you RSVP
When the event you just RSVP'd to is on a community page, the confirmation now shows More from that community with a Follow button. One tap, with the number you just confirmed: you get a text when they post their next event, at most four a month.

Your guests can follow your community in one tap
Events you show on your community page now offer your guests Follow on their RSVP confirmation, once their number is confirmed. No second code, so more of the people who come once hear about the next one.

Link previews show your title and date
When you share an invite with a cover image in WhatsApp, iMessage or anywhere else that shows a preview, the image now has the event's title, date and your name on it, not just the picture.

New pages at evnts.rsvp/for/birthday, /for/potluck, /for/diwali and /for/community show what Evnts does for that occasion, and Make your invite opens the editor with a starting line already typed.

An optional tip to Evnts, never from your tickets
Guests paying for tickets now see Support Evnts (optional) with $1, $2 or $5 and nothing pre-selected. The tip goes to Evnts, you keep every ticket dollar (we cover Stripe's fee on it), and a full refund sends it back. Switch it off for an event under Tickets (Ask guests to support Evnts).

When you pay for tickets you can add a small tip to Evnts, which keeps it free for hosts. It's optional and nothing is pre-selected; the host still gets the full ticket price.

Membership tiers, with perks at every event
Add tiers to your community's membership (+ Add a tier): each with its own price, or free, and what it includes at every event you host: free tickets, guest tickets and a % off extra tickets. Students can be checked with a school-email code, and a tier can be for people you add only. Switch perks off for one event under Tickets (Member perks apply), and limit a Members only ticket to some tiers.

Your membership's tickets, included
Members of a community with perks now get their included tickets at $0 when they RSVP to its events, and pay only for the rest. The community page shows what your tier includes.

Check people in at the door
Point your phone's camera at a guest's pass and tap Check in, or search Guests by name or door code. Parties can arrive in parts; it keeps working with no signal and syncs later. Arrived shows on your dashboard, and the Door log keeps every check-in from every phone, marking anything that needs a look.

Going to an event? Your RSVP page now has a pass with a QR and a door code. Show it at the door, save it to your phone, or share it with the people you're bringing.

Replied STOP by mistake? One tap to undo it
If your number once replied STOP, signing in, RSVPing or following now says texts are off and gives you a Text START button that opens your messages app with START typed in. Send it, then tap Send code again. Hosts also see a note on Your events while texts are off.

Paid membership for your community
Sell a monthly and/or annual membership from your community settings (Membership → Sell membership). People tap Become a member on your community page, confirm their number and pay on Stripe, straight to your own account. Members land on your member list, unlock your Members only tickets and follow your community. Add the ones who pay you another way with an end date; after it, they no longer count.

Become a member, cancel any time
A community that sells membership shows Become a member on its page. You pay on Stripe and get a text with your link; open the page any time to see when it renews, or tap Manage → Cancel at period end. You stay a member until the end of what you paid for.

Member lists and Members only tickets
Keep lists of your members under Member lists on your home page — paste names and numbers, or upload a CSV from your spreadsheet. Then set a ticket type to Members only: guests on the list get it after confirming their number with a code, everyone else sees it's for members. Nobody on a list is ever messaged, and your guest list marks who is a member.

Tickets on sale from… until…
Each ticket type can open and close on its own: an early-bird price until Friday, door tickets from the morning of the event. Leave the dates empty to sell until the event starts.

Promo codes
Hosts can add promo codes in the Tickets sheet — a percent or an amount off, with an optional use limit and end date. Each code is made in the host's own Stripe account too, and Stripe counts every use. Guests type the code when they get tickets.

Run a club, a group or a series? Start a community from your home page: one page at evnts.rsvp/c/your-name listing the events you choose. People follow it with their number and get a text when you post a new event — at most four a month.

Know if a link is free before you save
Picking a custom link for an invite (or a community) now tells you as soon as you leave the box whether it's free — and suggests one if it's taken.

Reminders reach everyone who confirmed their number
A gap meant some guests who confirmed their number with a code got the confirmation text and then no reminder or update. Fixed, and the guests it affected are back on the list for texts.

Refunded? We tell you
When the host refunds your ticket in full from Stripe, you now get a text and an email saying so, with your link to change your answer. Before, you quietly dropped off the guest list. Want to go after all? Tap Get tickets and pay again.

Paid events say Get tickets
On an event with a price, the invite now offers Get tickets and Can't make it instead of Going, Maybe and Can't. A ticket isn't a maybe. Free ticket types keep the usual three answers.

Paid? Your confirmation comes by text and email
After you pay, your confirmation and change link are texted to your number and emailed to the address you gave Stripe at checkout — no need to type it twice. (A gap meant paying guests got no text at all; fixed.)

See when a guest's card is declined
A guest whose payment didn't go through used to sit as plain Unpaid. Their row now says Card declined, with the reason Stripe gave, until they try again or their 30-minute hold lapses. The CSV export carries it too.

Left the payment page? Just RSVP again
If a card is declined or you close Stripe before paying, tap Going again with the same number from any browser and you get a fresh payment page. Before, that number was told an RSVP already existed and to open a text that was never sent.

Deleting a live event tells your guests
Delete an event that's still on and everyone who said Going or Maybe gets the same cancellation message as when you cancel — before the page disappears. A cancelled or past event is deleted quietly; those guests already know.

You hear when guests answer
When someone RSVPs you get a text — how many more are going, who's a maybe, and the headcount so far — at most once an hour, then one round-up of anything since. WhatsApp outside the US and Canada. Switch it off in Updates or under More options.

Your spot is held while you pay
On a paid event, saying Going holds your spot for 30 minutes while you finish paying — nobody else can be charged for it in the meantime. Back out and it frees up for the next person.

Refunds free the spot
Refund a guest in full in Stripe (or lose a chargeback) and their RSVP turns to Not going on its own: the spot opens up, the waitlist moves up, and the guest list says Refunded next to their name. A partial refund keeps their spot.

Co-host invites ask first
Opening a co-host link now shows whose event it is and asks before joining, so a tapped link never signs anyone up by surprise. Co-hosts can also leave an event themselves from the Co-hosts tab.

Privacy Policy, in full
The policy now names every service that touches your data — including the AI that drafts invites, the weather forecast and WhatsApp — says exactly what Support messages we keep after you delete your data, and gives them a two-year shelf life.

More options → Tickets now takes more than one price. Add ticket types — early bird, general, VIP, kids, a free pass — each with its own price, total available and max per guest. Guests pick how many of each; the dashboard shows what's sold per type.

Charge per person
Connect your own Stripe account from your home page (Get paid), then set a price in the editor. Guests pay as they RSVP and only a paid RSVP counts. The money goes straight to you; Evnts takes no cut.

Paying for a spot
If an invite has a price, tap Going and confirm: a secure Stripe page takes the payment to the host directly, and you're in the moment it goes through. Stripe emails your receipt; refunds are handled by the host.

Add a guest: clearer number entry
The mobile number on Add a guest now has the same country-code picker as everywhere else. Pick the country, type the number as they'd dial it locally, and we add the code.

Works with a screen reader
Every screen from creating an invite to the dashboard now passes an automated WCAG AA check on each release: buttons with enough contrast, fields that announce their labels, and no decorative icons read aloud.

Hand an RSVP over
Added a guest yourself? Give us their number and we text them their link once, from you. When they confirm the number the RSVP is theirs: reminders, updates, and they can change their own answer.

A receipt for every text opt-in
When you tick the consent box or tap “Text me a code”, we now keep a record of the exact wording, the time and the code you confirmed. It's in your data download, and it's what we'd show if anyone asked whether you agreed to a text.

Text on the invite is higher-contrast, sheets keep keyboard focus where you are, and confirmations use our own dialogs instead of the browser's.
